Harpist & Pianist Experienced Harp, Piano, Music Theory Teacher
I was born in Macau SAR and later moved to Australia in 2013.
I have been playing harp for around twelve years and piano for twenty one years. I studied harp with Ms Louise Johnson and graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music Performance in 2019. I completed Associate diploma in Piano performance from Trinity College London in 2011 and Licentiate diploma in Harp Performance from AMEB in 2019. I was the recipient of many music scholarships during my studies.
I was one of the highest scorer of ABRSM Harp Exam in Macau in 2013 & 2014. I have been guest harpist in many orchestras in Australia and Macao SAR, including the Ku-ringgai Symphony Orchestra, Fremantle Symphony Orchestra, Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. I was grateful to be the winner of the Gold Medal in Hong Kong Open Music Competition in 2018 and First prize of Sydney Harp Eisteddford in 2019. In 2022 I was selected to be the soloist with Fremantle Symphony Orchestra playing "Harp Concerto in Bb".
I have been regular piano accompanist for choirs, school and instrumental examinations. As a harpist, I play regularly in special occasions and commercial events. I am also an instrumental teacher in multiple public & private high schools around Perth.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking and working on new recipes. I am also an indoor plant enthusiast- a proud plant mumma. I enjoy going on outdoor adventures with my furbaby Benji.
I can speak English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
